I'm just a 20 year old guy from southern California, USA who posts about my favorite things and stuff that is funny. I will also post about random stuff, think of, say, a journal. I find this to be good therapy where my inner world can remain private, but it's out there in the open if anyone cares to listen.

I don't always follow back, but I check out every new followers blog, and I don't mind you asking to check your blog. :3

Well, enjoy~!

It is okay to like anime

It is okay to cosplay

It is okay to like J-Pop and K-Pop

It is okay to like things that come from Asian cultures

It is not okay to fetishize Asian women/men based off of your affinity with these things and make preconceived fantasies of how Asian women/men “should act” or look like because of it

It is not okay to fetishize or commoditize Asian cultures. Period.

Some Pokemon doodles done over the last 2 days.

Atheists are not bad people.

We don’t fear God because we don’t believe there is a god. We don’t think there is a supreme being. We will never quiver and beg for our lives on “judgement day” because we believe and know that day will never happen.

I hate to sound like an ass, but if people were more aware and if more focus was put into history, people can see the fabrication of religion as a means to manipulate and isolate groups of people. I mean, really, who actually puts belief into a religion when a bratty king decides to make his own church when he wants to divorce his wife but the current church won’t allow it, and who believes that trekking the Oregon Trail eventually leads to the help of God. People should also know that what they’re feeling is not a holy being in their body, it’s their body and mind working together and giving them these sensations that feel other worldly.

I get it, if you believe, that’s fine. Just know that I have my beliefs and I cannot be swayed from them.

I don’t want to say people are stupid, but people are stupid.

Ohmygosh, I missed the entire season of the new Asia’s NTM, save the finale, and two of the remaining contestants are Filipinas!

There’s a 2/3 chance that a contestant from the Philippines will win omgomgomg

And it looks like they both have a good chance at winning judging from their summary performance

the batad and bangaan rice terraces of the philippine cordilleras were carved along the natural contours of this mountainside two thousand years ago by the ifugao people, and remain in use by the current ifugao farmers who collectively maintain the ancient but complex system of dams, sluices, channels and bamboo pipes that keep the terraces adequately flooded.

a living cultural landscape, the terraces are a unesco world heritage site, further notable for their altitude, which peaks at 1500 meters, and steep slopes, which can be as high as seventy degrees. owing to the difficult terrain, the ifuago were among the few peoples of the philippines to have successfully resisted any foreign domination and preserved their culture.
